New investments in Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone – Ideal Automotive

250 new workplaces will be created in Lubuski Industrial and Technology Park. This time a new industrial plant will be built by an automotive company, IDEAL Automotive Zielona Góra Sp. z o.o.

The company belongs to the Ideal Automotive group with headquarters in Germany, which is one of the biggest world providers of the automotive industry. Nowadays Ideal Automotive has 16 factories around the world (Germany, Mexico, Czech Republic, Slovakia, China, Japan), where employs more than 4 thousand people.

Due to the investment, a new production factory will be constructed, where will be held the production of car’s equipment parts. The final result will include: upholstery of the boot shelf, upholstery / rear seat cover (separating the rear seats from the trunk).

Within the investment, the company plans to purchase at least three new production lines composed of: hydraulic press, pneumatic press, heated hydraulic press, water jet cutting equipment and other equipment necessary for car parts production.

The investment will be realized on a real estate of a total area of 8.0117 ha, owned by the Zielona Góra City. The entrepreneur declares to employ at least 250 employees (currently 50) and incur investment expanses of at least PLN 22 m by the end of 2018. Ultimately, after the expansion of the plant, about 800 people may find employment.
